About Me
Still a student at Temple University in Philadelphia, the “Rae” in the beauty brand was looking for a unique way to display her creativity…
She found herself surrounded by designers, aestheticians, and other corporate professionals like herself with the desire to collaborate and innovate. Looking for inspiration Geneene Larae traveled to Thailand, Beijing, Bali and Italy; where she was surrounded by color, history, and passion, cultivating a desire to tap into her artistry. Traveling became a wanderlust and cultivated an appreciation for humility and all things of beauty. Inspired by a sea of luxury, there came the commitment to creating a high-end yet modest product inclusive of all women, regardless of faith, ethnicity, or belief.

“Belinda Rae was inspired by my Mom. Growing up, she expressed to me how she always felt out of place, feeling like her true beauty went unnoticed. Belinda is her middle name; strong and beautiful like her.
I wanted to create a product for women with her in mind: of all colors, shapes, and sizes. I wanted to create a brand where women would never have to compromise themselves or their beliefs. Belinda Rae is a modest luxury that includes every woman.”
